The previous discussion was closed 5 July 2012 as non consensus, however I am re-nominating this on the same base. There are no participants, and even no assessment tag. Some users suggested to merge it, but there is just nothing to merge. ♛♚★Vaibhav Jain★♚♛ 15:18, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

• Delete - The 5 July 2012 close noted, "Discussion of a possible merger and/or redirect can continue on the project talk page." No real discussions of a possible merger and/or redirect have taken place in the month since the last MfD close, which supports Vibhijain's reasons listed above for terminating the project and deleting the pages assiciated with the project. -- Uzma Gamal (talk) 15:26, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

• Delete: The project fizzled and never got off the ground, and there's little probability that anything will ever come of it, as evidenced by the lack of attention it has received, even since the las AfD. Agree with Nom and Uzma Gamal that merging is pointless, as there is literally nothing to merge. Everything associated with this project can be jettisoned without any loss to WP. • Delete I was the nominator of the first MFD case about this WP Kolkata. Basically I feel it's just boasts about Kolkata and all it's surrounding areas. It relies heavily on WP:INDIA. Agree with Vibhijain, and therefore, I support to delete this. Dipankan 16:41, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

• Delete, would suggest tagging as historical/inactive but there's not really much salvageable content that wouldn't be recreated if someone were to start over from scratch. —Scott5114↗ 19:14, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
• Redirect to Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Indian cities. "Nothing to merge" means that "merge and redirect" is trivial. As a WikiProject, it is too narrow, and the natural thing to do is to point to the next smallest active encompassing WikiProject. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 06:35, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

• Delete and redirect I had also raised this point in the last MfD there is nothing to merge. The page can be safely deleted and redirected to Misplaced Pages:WikiProject West Bengal as it is the immediate Parent wikiproject, An editor looking for WP:Kolkata will get necessary help from members of Misplaced Pages:WikiProject West Bengal .just like last time here also I am late to the party --DBigXray 16:51, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
