Image copyright problem with Image:Sofa_artigo_metalder_05_pq.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Sofa_artigo_metalder_05_pq.gif. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Misplaced Pages because of copyright law (see Misplaced Pages's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Misplaced Pages is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Misplaced Pages are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. TVRage
I moved the following here from Talk:TVRage.com. Mangojuice 20:48, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
Who the hell took this down? TV.COM purist vandals? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr. R.K.Z (talk • contribs)
- Doubtful --- only admins can actually delete pages. I just checked for you and record of it is available at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/TVRage.com (second nomination). According to it, the determination was delete. So from what I can tell, no vandalism, just a considered decision. Agent0042 20:16, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
There seems to a large amount of "keeps" in the ATD, so this could not have been a consensus decision from the TV.COM loyalists, but mainly because of the rules the article was breaking, which was easily repairable given one neutral partys' intervention.
I suppose I can try and reestablish it later once I figure out how to approach it objectivly. Dr. R.K.Z
- Hey, I'm for it, actually, if you can get it to work. But I worry that somebody may delete it again, saying that it's still not noteable enough. Another page for a site called "TeleGuides" was also taken down. Agent0042 02:36, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
Blanking pages
Please do not replace Misplaced Pages pages or sections with blank content. It is considered vandalism. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. If it's about the TZ article, it's to clear up the clustured discussion.
Unfortunately, it's generally not considered good form to remove other people's talk page comments. If you think the page is large enough for an archive, you can archive it, otherwise, you should leave other people's talk page comments alone. ⇒ SWATJester Aim Fire! 20:06, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
-I understand, thankyou for clarifying.
To Osfan
I have the right to delete snide snobbish lip I'm getting from mistakes I can't help because of physical problems. Why don't you try and learn to be a professional when saying what was "attrocious" about an edit I made? I could'nt give a rat's ass if you find fault in it, as it can be easily fixed by somebody else. Besides, as stated in the first edit made, it was done quickly and was'nt a "permanent edit", meaning I had no intention of caring if it was well maintained in format or whatnot. If I somehow offended you SOOO badly that you decided to give me lip over it, your funeral. A viking funeral.
Until I get a warning from people above you, don't expect your comments to stay that long
- My issue with Hugo Savinovich was the poor spelling. If you don't have the time to do basic things such as spell check, then leave the article for someone else to creat. You can recommend Misplaced Pages articles to get created as well at Misplaced Pages: Requested articles/sports. I also was not personally attacking you; I was attacking your work. OsFan 15:22, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
Personal attacks
Like this are not welcomed on Misplaced Pages. Please refrain from making similar comments in the future. No personal attacks is an offical policy on Misplaced Pages. Comment on content, not on the contributor. Personal attacks will rarely help you make a point; they hurt the Misplaced Pages community and deter users from helping create a good encyclopedia. --Naha| 17:50, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
- I merely said the spelling was atrocious. Is that really a big deal? What terminology should I use? OsFan 03:34, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
- The comment "please learn to spell" was'nt needed. I have problems that lead to my occasional mistakes in the typo department and you struck a personal chord
- Blah Blah Blah:::
- The comment "please learn to spell" was'nt needed. I have problems that lead to my occasional mistakes in the typo department and you struck a personal chord
Looks like you clearly don't know how to read, look above toots, I said I have problems that lead to my occasional mistakes in the typo department, not only did you decide to blatantly disrespect this problem and use it to justify your inane and stupid crusade against what I did to some fracking article I did'nt give a damn about, you've, again, ignored the explanation I gave for it.
Why the pluck is this article so essential to you? I've done plenty of articles since then that are perfectly well spelt given time and paitence. You clearly want attention, and you're clearly getting none of it. Again, I never had any intention of doing anything with that article other than putting it up there in a hurry for others tp quickly clean up and reedit, meaning I did'nt care it was rushed or mispelt, aritcles that I DO care about get more professional attention, So take that to the bank, roll it up, and cheque it, I'm done with you.
(After another generic bout of whining)
Learn to READ. I swear to god, how long does it take you to understand when your opinion and your voice is'nt wanted here? Delete the comments I've left on YOUR talback and let's be done with this (and I note I only ever commented on your talkback again because you decided to completly ignore everything I've said above in previous exchanges to again post here when told not to) I'm going to report you the next time you even think of attacking this page again. This is your final warning

John Cena
Don't call editors such as myself or Antrophica (who are both male) "fangirls" while editing John Cena. I consider it a personal attack, and I will report you if you persist. Blacklist 02:44, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
And I'll report you for disguising or deleting factual accounts. JR at 'Mania never ONCE said Cena was too original and edgy for traditionalists to understand, I'm a traditionalist, I "get" Cena, I get Rap, I get hip hop, what you kept in there makes it sound as if the traditionalists don't have a fracking clue, but if JR never implied that Cena was too much for our kind, then it should'nt be in there.
- ... not at WM, but he has said it on live broadcasts (as in, "the controversial champion"). And don't try to drag me into a flame war. You'll only get into trouble. 207.62.237.123 18:24, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
- Damn browser. That was me. I'm typing at a College computer. Blacklist 18:25, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
...You're doing a good job of that yourself with the way you bait people in the Cena discussion talks... as for a flame war, I'm not the one delivering threats to your user talkback am I? Dr. R.K.Z
- YOU were the one who tried to drag me into a fight. I got confused as to what Bdve said. Fine. YOU acted like a tool and repeated what Bdve already said. I didn't need to be told twice. I can read perfectly fine, you jerk. Blacklist 17:40, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
NOW who's acting childish and throwing insults? Thanks so much for exposing yourself yet again, kindly do not bother with my usertalkback again, or what you have just thrown for what you consider a "great" insult will be used against you under "harrasment" and "abuse". Consider yourself pwned and be on your way, I'm done with you. Dr. R.K.Z
- You started this shit, and yet you blame me. Wow. Blacklist 04:19, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
You chose to take exception to being called biased and a fangirl, no s*it I'm blaming you. Pwned. Redundent argument. Get a pair and move on little boy, changing your previous profanity ridden comments will not help your case at all, in fact if you ever return to this talkpage, I will use your comments that you altered against you when reporting you for harrasment. If you have nothing constructive to say further, stay out of my way and learn to not go overboard on a subject. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr. R.K.Z (talk • contribs)
Secondly, how can I "troll" my own user talkback? Stop contradicting yourself, you're the one trolling buddy —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr. R.K.Z (talk • contribs)
Funny
As usual you continue to manipulate your talk page to your liking. OsFan 18:12, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
You and OsFan (talk · contribs)
I've taken the time to review your case, so let me see if I can sum it up to you in as few words as possible:
OsFan (talk · contribs) was at fault for attacking you the way he did (I will speak to him about the matter after this.). He had no right to tell you to "leave the article for someone else to creat". First of all, anyone can edit any page they want to (as long as they are not breaking any policies when doing so). Moreover, according to theEditing Policy, "poorly written first drafts of articles can evolve into polished, presentable masterpieces through the process of collaborative editing". i.e, Perfection is not required. One should also feel free to make mistakes, and through collaboration, it can be polished. Osfan is obviously someone who is ignorant of how Misplaced Pages works, and I'm sorry that you were the victim of this.
On a side note though: When someone makes personal attacks at you, do not stoop to their level. I know that Osfan did provoke you, but I can see that you also perpetuated the incident by responding harshly to him (for example, in this this edit you called him looser and dismissed his reading ability). Again, I know that he was the one who attacked you, but you could have still kept your cool.
I should point out that some users consider it disrespectful when a user removes comments from his or her talk page. Although you are using it, you really cannot claim it and tell others what to post and what not to post. For certain, you cannot remove warnings from you pages, nor can you delete discussions about the policies and concerns over your behavior. You can, however, archive it when it's too long. With this said, I cannot ban Osfan from your talk page, nor can any other Administrators (I've already pointed out that I'm going to contact him about his actions).
Lastly, I think that all of this could have been avioded if both of you took time to read a few of the policies, and remained civil and respectful.
If he presists, or if you have difficulty understanding anything, feel free to report to me. Oran e (t) (c) (e) 03:40, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, I have refrained from any further contact with Osfan and can only assume he will be do the same upon notification. I will will respect the present opinions of the Misplaced Pages staff in terms of user talkback policy. I'd be grateful if it could ever change, to control this kind of behaviour, but I respect our present stature.
-Dr. R.K.Z 20th May 2006
- No problem. On a different note, I see that you have been entering your signature manually. All you have to do to is type in four tildés after your comments: ~~~~, which will produce your name and the date. Or if you prefer, you can type {{user|Dr. R.K.Z}}, which produces Dr. R.K.Z (talk · contribs). When you are more experienced, you can develop a more intricate signature like mine :). John Cena
Please do not add future events or week by week break downs to wrestling pages. Especially when doing so involved removing warnings specifically against doing such things. - Bdve
The match was announced, it was fact, so long as it's not "OH MY GODZ, CENAZ FACINGZ EDGE AND HE WILL WIN", it's not harming anybody, and I WILL be challenging this very shortly.
Power Rangers
I can see that you are a fan of the series; it is just that the articles have way too much trivia in them, and you keep adding to them. Please continue to contribute, but don't add more and more trivia. Ryūlóng 05:03, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
That trivia is crucial to the show's transmission and cultural history. I've already heard and been cautioned of you, so that "order" is being ignored —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr. R.K.Z (talk • contribs)
- First, trivia is not crucial. Second, I don't know what I did to you to beget edit summaries such as this and especially this. The {{toomuchtrivia}} tags are there to show that we need to clean up those articles, as I did here. Some of the trivia that are in some of these articles should be stated, some don't. However, I do not think that we need to add to these sections any more than they already are. Contribute content, not trivia. Ryūlóng 06:56, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- If you continue to make offcolor remarks in edit summaries or continue to disrupt pages with information that other people find unrelated to the article in anyway, you will be blocked. Ryūlóng 21:39, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Two reminders
It is important to keep a cool head, especially when responding to comments against you or your edits. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and remember that action can be taken against other parties if necessary. Attacking another user back can only satisfy trolls or anger contributors and leads to general bad feeling. Please try to remain civil with your comments. Thanks!
As a courtesy for other editors, it is a Misplaced Pages guideline to sign your talk page and user talk page posts. To do so simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments and your user name or IP address and the date will be automatically added along with a timestamp. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). For further info see the talk page guidelines. Thank you.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 08:10, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
(Insulting comment from Osfan deleted)
Keep it up Osfan, until I'm told to stop, your troll-like harrasment will be countered by ANY means I see fit. It's becoming clear you are simply trying to bait me into a much more aggrivated response that will see me banned permanently, something that I assure will NEVER happen, in fact, you will be the most likley to go once your repeated acts of misconduct are finally responded to.

Help
I know that you are in need of some help, but Im afraid that real-life happenings have taken my time away from Misplaced Pages for a while. But there are many people who can help you: go to either WP:LA for a full list of Administrators, or go to Misplaced Pages:Requests for mediation, or the Misplaced Pages:Association of Members' Advocates/Members. Thanks, and I hope this gets resolved soon.
And as a side note: if I don't reply to your messages, simply check my contributions. This will tell you if I'm actually actively making edits or not. (I haven't been on Misplaced Pages since the 8th or 9th). Orane (talk • cont.) 06:44, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Thankyou...sorry if the later posts sounded a little "angrier", sometimes harrasment like this irks you to the point of impaitence. I appreciate the nods to other admins. I've been placing concerns for help on every available "help" resource page...some of which proved very helpful in dismantling Osfan's attempts to prevent my deletion of his immature comments.
Thanks again.

PD-self
Please note that images like Image:C719391q8gr.jpg are copyrighted by the creators of the album, the bands, etc. Album covers should be tagged with {{albumcover}}, not {{PD-self}} as you did not create the image, or if you did, it is a derivative work which is still covered by WP:FU. Please choose the correct copyright tags in the future, or you may be blocked for disrupting the encyclopedia through violating copyrights.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 01:06, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Userpage is a bit textually heavy
I notice your user page is a bit emotionally wrought. There's nothing wrong with saying things like 'don't persue vendettas with me', but it is in fact something people should not do to you by default. By warning people against it, you give yourself a negative reception from people who've never seen you before and have that as a first impression. Additionally, it may make some less-scrupulous newbies actually persue a vendetta against you, as this website has many petulant editors (tho i'm not accusing anyone in particular). If you have any problems with users persuing vendettas with you, please do contact me so I can give you some moral support rather than it accidentally infusing into your wiki edits, something which happens with me a lot and which i feel happens to a lot of others. If we pool together as editors we can overcome emotional stresses that unscrupulous others place upon us.--I'll bring the food (Talk - Contribs - My Watchlist) 02:22, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
