Ok, I'm taking out the part about Sacred Heart Hospital and "Scrubs". COMPLETELY different Sacred Heart. Even the original (according to imdb.com Christa Miller Biography), it's the Convent of the SH, not SHU. I always wondered why it was here. Azure Haights 06:12, Oct 17, 2004 (UTC)
Ok, then re-write it...all that needs to be done is to clean up some of the wording and create a more detatched, third person view...not delete it!
Copyvio?
At least part of this was taken (almost) verbatim from Sacred Heart's website, for instance:
Our longtime commitment to “anytime, anywhere learning” has made SHU a technology leader among college and universities nationwide. It began with the revolutionary 1995 debut of our Mobile Computing Program – providing every freshman with a state-of-the-art laptop and key software programs.
Compare to:

It began with the revolutionary 1995 debut of the Mobile Computing Program – providing every freshman with a state-of-the-art laptop and key software programs.
This should probably be cleared up. – TTD Bark! (pawprints) 07:28, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
- Regardless of copyvio, this article reads like a sales pamphlet, not an encyclopedia article. It really needs a ground-up rewrite. JFMorse 18:28, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Writing and editing this page
This message was just left on my talk page. Since it addresses a things that relate to this page, I think it's best to share it and answer it here:
- hello norton... i dunno how to contact you any other way so this is what im gonna do... STOP touching the Sacred Heart University website.... I work for Sacred Heart and the School is the one who typed out the orginal information. so please stop saying there are copy right laws being broken because they can not be broken if Sacred Heart is the one typing... I am so sick of having to go in every so often and fix what people like you put up there and supposedly "fix"... STOP TOUCHING OUR WEBSITE!!!!!!!
Response: First, thanks for sending me the message, and thanks for editing and caring about this page. We always need that at Misplaced Pages, and I hope you'll edit more pages. And you did the right thing by leaving a message on my talk page, although in the future, messages should go to the bottom of it, since that's where I and most people look for them.
I can understand that you're angry -- it comes from caring about the article. Please understand that my edits are only to improve the article. I think if you look at Misplaced Pages rules and style guidelines, starting with WP:STYLE, you'll come to agree with me that the consensus and the rules call for changes here.
Misplaced Pages can't use copyrighted material without direct authorization from the owner, and, frankly, copying text from elsewhere isn't what Misplaced Pages is all about and there is a rule against it. I'd be happy to take the time to look up the rule on that for you, if you'd like. Also, please review WP:OWN. Essentially it says everyone hs the right to edit pages on Misplaced Pages, as long as they follow the rules.
Please look over the pages I've linked to here and review Misplaced Pages rules. The way the page looks now, you will inevitably have other editors come in and do just about what I did and more. It will never end, because too many Misplaced Pages editors like me want pages that conform to the rules and the style. On the other hand, you care for this article more than I do and probably more than just about anyone else, so your interest in it and willingness to work on it are extremely valuable. So please think it over and feel free to ask me any questions you have. If we fight, you can't win and I don't want to fight, but I want good articles. Take a look at some other college and university articles. You might find you like them more than this one. Noroton 22:21, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

John Roberts
Can anyone provide a source to verify that John Roberts attended SHU? I had never heard this and nobody from the university could verify it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.79.173.255 (talk) 22:02, 15 May 2007 (UTC).
Copyvio
I thought part of the page sounded a little fishy, so I went back through and noticed that the entire article was essentially copied and pasted from Sacred Heart's website. I'm sorry if my mass revert upsets some people, and I certainly won't be offended if it's overridden, but it's the most recent edit I could find before the copyright violation was added again. If someone does re-revert the page, all I ask is that you please add the logo in somewhere appropriate so as not to have Betacommandbot yell at me about an orphaned image. Thanks. --fuzzy510 04:39, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
Copyright violation
Almost the entire contents of the page was plagiarised from various pages at http://www.sacredheart.edu/, so I have trimmed it down to almost nothing. I see that there are claims of copyright authorisation above, but no substantiation. Bovlb (talk) 06:58, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- If anyone wants to substantiate copyright permission, please see Copyright owners who submitted their own work to Misplaced Pages. Bovlb (talk) 07:04, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Can someone find valid sources for those sections. Some may be vandalism. Here is a link to the board of trustees. http://www.sacredheart.edu/pages/18846_administration_and_board_of_trustees.cfm CaffeineJunkie (talk) 14:47, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello, we have a number of edits (like the size of Sacred Heart's endowment, sporting affiliations, number of buildings on campus, names of buildings and colleges, etc.) we are requesting and would like to ask the best way to achieve this. Should we request one or two edits at a time, or can we submit them in bulk? We've compiled our edits in this document--of course, we will follow proper procedure in actually submitting the requests, but wanted to provide our source material as a starting point: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1wHP7AShk2ksobVDaP8Dpf8UMCjm0DiBXI2aq9MT0UaI/edit?usp=sharing.
Additionally, we wish to disclose a conflict of interest in updating the Misplaced Pages page for Sacred Heart University, as we are employees of the institution. We've worked here for a number of years, and during this time, the university has transformed in many ways, and the page as it stands does not accurately represent the institution today. We have thoroughly vetted all edits that we propose to the page against the latest data we have as well as external articles that we were able to find. - Hi! It's best that you declare your COI clearly on your userpage, as you have. If you are being paid to edit on Misplaced Pages or are otherwise expecting compensation in relation to your editing here, you must also declare this separately and clearly (see WP:PAID).
- Using Google Docs is a bit cumbersome and discouraged. If you would like to share a draft you created here on Misplaced Pages, the best thing to do would be to write it in your sandbox (perhaps even a separate sandbox page) and then share a link to that. For more information about sandboxes, see H:SANDBOX.
- Lastly, remember that all information on Misplaced Pages needs to be verifiable per WP:V. If you have access to some kind of internal data or information that is not publicly available, you can't base your edits on that information. Unless information can be attributed to a reliable source that readers can access, or it is very plausible and obvious that a reader could easily verify information ("London is the capital of the UK" needs no inline citation), it should not be added to an article.
