Naruto: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshu 4 (Naruto: Ninja Council 3 in North America) is an action game for the Nintendo DS based on the popular anime and manga series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto. Although the game was only released in Japan officially, select Best Buy stores in the U.S. have carried this title as an advertised Import video game, along with Jump Super Stars. The front packaging states on an advisory sticker that the title is in Japanese and no help is offered in English.

Gameplay

Naruto: Saikyou Ninja Daikesshu 4 has similar gameplay to the last three games in the series. The missions take place on a small plane. The touch screen serves as both a map and as a place to perform different jutsu. Animals and ninja are your typical opponents in the game. On certain missions, you have to fight bosses. Bosses are usually the antagonists from the popular anime. During such missions the player has to defeat the opponent under various conditions (e.g. having your health cut in half, having to protect an ally, use a certain move to KO, etc.).
