ICL 2980
I notice you have a link to the ICL2980 page from your User:Random832/WantedCats/1/2 page. The content has now been merged onto the main ICL 2900 Series page, so the redirect has been altered, but I thought you might appreciate the heads-up so you could alter your page at some point. --ClickRick (talk) 07:34, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Your assistance please...
In December 2007 you redirected Salah 'Ali Qaru to another similar article, that of Muhammad Bashmilah -- claiming that it was a "duplicate". I just noticed this redirection today.
I think your redirection was hasty -- and damaging -- and if you were a new contributor I would try to gently urge you to exercise more caution. Due to your redirection this article has not been updated in a year and a half. As you can see, the current version of Muhammad Bashmilah doesn't even mention Salah 'Ali Qaru.
I looked, and saw that you were entrusted with administrator authority about a month after you performed this redirection. Well, even so, I am going to suggest you exercise more caution. Geo Swan (talk) 19:54, 21 May 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Misplaced Pages:Sandbox
Thank you for experimenting with Misplaced Pages. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding
{{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Masz (talk) 11:14, 13 June 2009 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Misplaced Pages arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
