Ty Law - Hall of Famer
I would like to change the list of New England Patriots Hall of Famers. It currently lists only Curtis Martin, Junior Seau, and Randy Moss. Ty Law was inducted into the Hall of Fame this year, see this article (http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/25908742/pro-football-hall-fame-8-person-class-includes-ed-reed-ty-law-champ-bailey-tony-gonzalez). For the information required for that section: (1) He wore number 24, (2) he played CB, (3) he played for the Pats from 1995-2004, and (4) he was inducted in 2019. I suggest adding a notation under the Aircraft section on this page to note that on April 3, 2020, the Patriots team jet was used to collect a shipment of 1.4 million N95 masks from China for the protection of medical workers during the coronavirus pandemic, after several shipments meant for Massachusetts were waylaid by the federal government.

Early ownership of "Boston Patriots"
As a former Bostonian, I seem to recall that the original franchise sold stock and was publicly owned like Green Bay.
https://en.wikipedia.org/History_of_the_New_England_Patriots indicates that there were 10 initial local investors. Am I recalling the early broad ownership community incorrectly?
The history page even says "During this time, the Sullivan family – who had owned the Patriots since their inception". Was there such single family ownership or weren't there multiple investors at the beginning? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mjmarcus (talk • contribs) 12:45, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
- In terms of "owned", that undoubtedly means the "owner of record" in football terms - the person who represents the team to the league. That's usually the majority owner, but doesn't have to be. As for broad ownership early in the history, perhaps some research is in order? Let us know what you find. Tarl N. (discuss) 14:20, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
team colors
I saw the change in uniform colors from Nautical Blue to Navy Blue and New Century Silver to Silver.
I found these colors named in 2000 article (https://www.patriots.com/news/new-uniforms-unveiled-115846) and was suprised to find "navy" in the cited article, because I don't notice a change in shade in the uniform redesign. Is it actually different shades of blue and silver? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Coemgenv (talk • contribs) 16:01, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

Hey can you change the years in which they won their Super Bowls? because the years shown are incorrect they actually won their Super Bowls in 2002 2004 2005 2015 2017 and 2019 not 2001 2003 2004 2014 2016 2018 I know youre going by the season but the actual year counts even more 2600:1700:A710:6BA0:2D7B:B626:C301:28B2 (talk) 21:49, 14 August 2021 (UTC)

This is incorrect (probably a typo)
Scoring Stephen Gostkowski 1,755 points 2006–2019
should be
Scoring Stephen Gostkowski 1,775 points 2006–2019
Footnote 88 confirms that. If only he had kicked one more extra point. 2601:184:4602:20E0:DDC0:9A2A:1AD9:4312 (talk) 19:56, 2 October 2021 (UTC)

Orphaned references in New England Patriots
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of New England Patriots's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "BroncosPatriots2011":
- From Broncos–Patriots rivalry: Klis, Mike (January 14, 2012). "Tom Brady leads Patriots' 45–10 rout of Broncos, Tim Tebow in NFL playoffs". The Denver Post. Retrieved January 14, 2012.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 07:02, 4 December 2021 (UTC)

This sentence in the 2nd-to-last paragraph in the section entitled "Franchise History" has a fundamental grammatical error--a textbook example of a dangling modifier. The sentence is this: "Driving the ball to New England's 1-yard line with under a minute to go, rookie cornerback Malcolm Butler caught a critical interception on Seattle's final offensive play that helped to seal the victory." For this sentence to make grammatical sense, Malcolm Butler would personally have had to "drive the ball to New England's 1-yard line!" When a sentence begins with a participial phrase like this, the opening phrase necessarily modifies the sentence's subject (here, "Malcolm Butler"). The sentence should be CHANGED TO THIS: "After Seattle had driven the ball to New England's 1-yard line with under a minute to go, New England rookie cornerback Malcolm Butler made a critical interception on Seattle's final offensive play that helped to seal the victory." The grammatical error is thus solved. Dbeach2 (talk) 00:28, 9 March 2022 (UTC)

Any dedicated Patriots fans out here? If so, please consider joining me in updating the New England Patriots draft history page
Noticed the Patriots don't have a dedicated draft history page like a lot of other teams, so I went ahead and created the draft page for it that I will edit over time. I copied the initial data and table set up from a fellow AFL team, the Bengals, as they have been around a similar amount of time as us and surprisingly are the only AFC team on the list. The objective is to erase their draft history with ours, but keep the tables and key they've set up to save so much time.
I have been doing everything I can to make our pages better but this is not a one-person job. If anybody would like to assist me overtime these next few months while we correct it with our information overtime it would be so appreciated! The best source for our draft history is the official source (https://static.clubs.nfl.com/image/upload/patriots/ri10jlnudxege5my5alr.pdf)
Draft:New England Patriots draft history
As for another page I've done, I've created the Draft:New England Patriots records page, which should be uploaded any time in the next four months. Like I said, I would do the draft history by myself too but it is a massive undertaking. I wish there was some software that would accurately transfer the data from the official website or Pro-Football-Ref to the tables here, but sadly everything has to be by hand. Evil Empire
Editors, please remove the moronic "Evil Empire" fake nickname. This is not a thing. It was a shirt. It's disgraceful this page asserts that to be co-equal to the actual nickname of the franchise. 2604:CA00:17B:15F2:0:0:465:32B5 (talk) 02:19, 23 January 2023 (UTC)

I'm suggesting that the word "each" and the final comma be removed from the sentence "Deion Branch (left) and Julian Edelman (right) are the two Patriots wide receivers that have won the Super Bowl MVP award, each doing so in Super Bowl XXXIX and Super Bowl LIII, respectively." because in its current form the sentence is ungrammatical. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.118.127.157 (talk) 14:26, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
