(金色のガッシュベル!!) by Makoto Raiku. .
Megumi
Megumi Oumi is a 14-year-old Japanese teen idol and pop singer. She is the book keeper of Tia. Megumi befriends Zatch and Kiyo after they help her to defeat Maruss and Rembrant. She later develops feelings for Kiyo due to that incident. She also is a master of Judo and Aikido, even teaching it to Tia for self-defense.
She had saved a certain mamodo when she'd found her on the docks. Tia had kept to herself when they'd first met, saying that she'd only get hurt helping her fight off mamodo. They eventually started to get along and Tia came to trust Megumi.
She can be seen doing concerts, tours, and other things that keep her schedule busy. She goes to school full-time as well, getting hassled by photographers and classmates.
Among Megumi's most popular songs are "Hikari no Prism" ("Prism of Light"), "Happy Tomorrow" ("We Did It Together" in the English version) and "Watashi no Yume" ("My Dream").
Megumi ranked 4th in the most recent Gash Bell popularity contest.
Tia
Tia (Tio in the original version) is usually considered to be a tomboy and used to bully Zatch (Gash) a lot in the mamodo world, though she secretly has a crush on him. She's a tough mamodo who learned that there are others who she can trust. Tia was originally friends with Maruss in the mamodo world, but then was betrayed by him when the mamodo battles started. In the human world, Tia met with Maruss again on a ship only to be defeated by him. After the battle, Megumi found Tia unconscious by the docks. While Tia initially resisted her friendship, eventually they became close partners. She has feelings for Zatch, who she feels is always coming to rescue her, but has trouble articulating her emotions.
She was known in the mamodo world as "Tia the Strangler", and is often seen strangling Zatch to the point that his neck becomes stretched out. In the video game, she is known as "Tia the Tomboy".
Tia ranked 7th in the most recent Gash Bell popularity contest.

- Saisu: One of Tia's offensive spells, kind of like a non-returning boomerang of energy. This is the first spell she learnt. (Attack)
- Seoshi: This is Tia's all purpose capsule-like shield, but it can't protect against attacks from underground. (Defense)

- Chaziru Saifodon: Conditional spell similar to Saifogeo in appearance which is powered by Tia's anger. The appearance of the goddess becomes more demonic as well, and once the spell is ready Tia launches it at the opponent. (Attack)
- Chaziru Seoshidon: One of Tia's most powerful defense spells which summons three goddesses.
