Hi Locke Cole! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Talk:2023 Nashville school shooting several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:2023 Nashville school shooting, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. I meant to say "unilateral hatting" in my revert edit summary but the intent stands. You made a bold hatting, it got reverted. If you consider it gravedancing, please take it to the correct forum instead of edit warring without discussion.. Soni (talk) 06:00, 19 April 2023 (UTC)
- When dealing with this amount of opposition, Locke Cole, you’ve got to be whiter than white. You can’t be assuming bad faith, you can’t be edit warring on the talk page. You have to try not to be hostile. You’ve got to be careful. Good luck. starship.paint (exalt) 03:08, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Buy Buy Baby (logo).svg
A tag has been placed on File:Buy Buy Baby (logo).svg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. General Ization 16:03, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
- The SVG is corrupt when rendered at widths < 1000 px (typically how logos are displayed in the encyclopedia). If you can repair it, please contest the deletion and do so. Thanks. General Ization 16:05, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
- @General Ization In the future, please don't jump to CSD. I saw the issue in the tiny thumbnail (the image in the article looked fine on both the Misplaced Pages app, and on the full desktop site) and believe I've corrected it. I also took the time to add the colors from the prior logo image. Let me know if there's anything else you see wrong. —Locke Cole • t • c 05:39, 28 April 2023 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Bacardi Limited (logo).svg
Thanks for uploading File:Bacardi Limited (logo).svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:18, 11 May 2023 (UTC)

Come on Locke, these personal attacks are unacceptable, and I would urge you to strike them. Remember what I said above? Furthermore, I don't think the extended arguments are much of a positive. starship.paint (exalt) 03:26, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
- I don't think the entire RFC and the one that preceded it have been positive for the project. I also don't take kindly to being told I'm dumb, so that might have had something to do with it. —Locke Cole • t • c 04:49, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
- You're free to think that the RFC is stupid, you're free to think editors are stupid, you just have to keep it to yourself. If you can't keep your cool, you're liable for sanctions, simple as that. Better to walk away than be sanctioned. starship.paint (exalt) 06:35, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
- I guess I take issue with being held to a higher standard than the people clearly not here to build an encyclopedia. But regardless, struck. —Locke Cole • t • c 18:43, 26 June 2023 (UTC)
- I think he was being provoked a little bit, but two wrongs don't make a right, and he is the one being the bigger person and doing the right thing to strike. He gets worked up like I used to. I'm sure he will improve. Thanks for coming to my aid Locke. I was feeling a little bit ganged up on again so that helped out a lot. You are good people! Huggums537 (talk) 08:29, 28 June 2023 (UTC)

Draft:iPhone 15 Pro
Hi Locke Cole, what's going on with this? I see you also requested deletion of the current redirect. Sorry about my revert, I misread the history and thought the draft had already been rejected. S0091 (talk) 16:53, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- It was partially copied/pasted into mainspace, the product is not announced yet and the article currently is WP:CRYSTALBALL. The announcement event begins any minute, so it should be ready (with some edits of course) shortly, but it was too soon when it was done a few hours ago... —Locke Cole • t • c 16:59, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- Ahh...ok. Yeah, I see now it is being announced today. I chopped the draft down to just the basics. Feel free to move it mainspace when you think it is ready. No need to wait for AfC to review it. S0091 (talk) 17:25, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
About Draft:iPhone 15
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. It appears that you tried to give Draft:iPhone 15 a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into IPhone 15. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Misplaced Pages has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Misplaced Pages:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of IPhone 15
A tag has been placed on IPhone 15 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done for the following reason:
c&p copy of Draft:IPhone 15
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Move of Apple A17 Pro
Hey, just wanted to touch base with you on your move of Apple A17 to Apple A17 Pro. This is inconsistent with all of the prior A-series processors with sub-names, which have been at Apple A10, Apple A10X, Apple A11, Apple A12, Apple A12X, Apple A13, Apple A14, Apple A15 and Apple A16, despite them all having names such as Fusion and Bionic after them. I think it would be wise to undo the move, but I'll leave the choice up to you. Phuzion (talk) 19:47, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- My gut says they'll eventually release a non-Pro A17, but with names like A12X and so on, the "Pro" seems like something that may get called out more often than "Fusion" and "Bionic" did in years past. —Locke Cole • t • c 20:04, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
- And it appears @Brandon moved it back anyways. I still think the "Pro" title is correct but whatever. —Locke Cole • t • c 00:38, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
- Apologies, I did not see your rename before I moved it. I’ll revert. Brandon (talk) 03:27, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
- Don't worry about it. If I get hung up on it, there's always WP:RM. —Locke Cole • t • c 03:43, 13 September 2023 (UTC)
