Hi,
How are you?
I am proposing that the following article: Release Lillywhite Recordings Campaign be deleted. There is no proof that this campaign led to the recording of Busted Stuff, or was acknowledged by the DMB or RCA people. While the campaign was mentioned in Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly, I don't think that is grounds enough to have a separate article. Please comment on the Talk page. Thanks. Orphaned fair use image (Image:Your Blue Room.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Your Blue Room.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Misplaced Pages and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 15:22, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Redirects
There have been a number of redirects you have tagged with {{rfd}}, but never listed at WP:RFD. Please see the instructions for nominating a redirect for deletion. You need to follow both steps to complete the nomination. As these have been incomplete for some time, I have reverted the tags. If you still wish to nominate them for deletion, feel free to re-nominate them, but please follow the instructions. Also, do not redirect an article and then nominate that redirect for deletion (as you did with Ambler College). If you wish to see the article deleted, you should use WP:AFD or WP:PROD. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. -- JLaTondre 15:10, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
Semi-protection tag
Actually, the tag has no effect on vandalism. An administrator has to protect or semi-protect the article to have any effect. The tag is just for notification.--Kchase T 05:40, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:In_November_Sunlight.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:In_November_Sunlight.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Misplaced Pages:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Misplaced Pages:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:43, 28 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BJ 03:43, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Miss_sarajevo2.jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Miss_sarajevo2.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Misplaced Pages articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as {{fair use}} or {{fair use in|article name}}, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ↔NMajdan•talk•EditorReview 20:32, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Good job on tour infobox
Good job on getting the tour infobox to sensibly handle individual artists' tour chronologies for collective tours such as A Conspiracy of Hope Tour and Human Rights Now! Tour. It was something that had stymied User:Davidpatrick and me. Wasted Time R 12:06, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Access symbols
Hi. With regards to your changes to various railway line articles, I was wondering why you have replaced the official International Symbol of Access with the current rather crudely drawn wheelchair symbol. The official symbol may be used within the terms of its copyright for uses defined in International Symbol of Access, including "Indicating an accessible transit station or vehicle". Furthermore, I have worked with people with disabilities in the past, and have found that badly thought-out or stereotyped signs, no matter how well intentioned, can often cause offence, and therefore the most prudent option is to stick to official symbols. – Tivedshambo (talk) 20:46, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- If you wesh to use the ISA, you'll have to get our fair use policies modified. --NE2 22:20, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
- I will email the ICTA to find out exactly what their terms of use are. – Tivedshambo (talk) 23:26, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
