=D I rather like the sound of logic cats. — coelacan19:32, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

The Hillary Imbroglio

I'm no big fan of Sen. Clinton, but that ANI was absolute GREATNESS! Do the Republicans have a team of folks out policing userpages or something? My WORD! Who cares who you support for president in '08, or if you put a picture of that person on your userpage?!? It's shocking to me that people have the time to go around policing other people's userpages... K. Scott Bailey 06:42, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Wow! Even MORE fascinating reading! I can't believe she actually sent correspondence to a UNIVERSITY without contacting the foundation! Talk about being drunk on the powers of adminship. I wonder if she actually thought her position gave her the right to speak on behalf of the project to an outside organization like that? That's cojones, I'll give her that!K. Fair use images on your userpage

Since your are desirous of people informing you, the following copyrighted images exist on your userpage and must be removed per Misplaced Pages:Fair use criteria item #9:

Also, the image Image:Aa-logo.jpg has no source / no license and is very likely copyrighted. It too should be removed. Thank you, --Durin 14:29, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Ever hear of WP:POINT, Durin? How bout WP:STALK? You're obviously scrutinizing my page in retaliation for my posting on ANI, which seems both petty and (yet another) violation of WP:CIV. Further, Misplaced Pages:Fair use criteria item #9 states quite clearly that exceptions may be made and that the issue should be examined on a case-by-case basis. PLease read it yourself before you try to wallop me with it. I would also add that WP:USER is a guideline, not policy, in case you try to bludgeon me with that one. :-) Jeffpw 14:39, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
  • You know what the case by case exceptions that have been granted are? The main page and pages directly supporting it. That's it. Userpages have never been excepted, nor is it likely they ever will be. They do not directly contribute to the encyclopedia. If you think I am stalking you, if you think I am being uncivil, then by all means report me to WP:AN/I and have me blocked. Even if I am stalking you, or "wallop" you (which I most emphatically am not), the case remains that you still, despite being told it is a violation, have fair use images on your userpage. Further, you've made no request for an exception (which would be denied, but at least requesting such an exception would be proper). Please remove the images. Thank you. All the best, --Durin 17:19, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Jeff, please remove the fair use images Durin has identified from you userpage. Thank you. WjBscribe 15:14, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
For you, WJB, it's done. Because you're a friend and asked politely (you know how y\to approach me). Jeffpw 22:03, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Jeffpw, from WP:STALK, "...This does not include checking up on an editor to fix errors or violations of Misplaced Pages policy". --Abu badali 15:29, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Abu badali, I cordially invite you to stay the hell off my userpage. Any further communication will be immediately trashed unread. Thanks in advance for your understanding. Jeffpw 22:03, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
That's the wrong attitude to take. Misplaced Pages is a group project. Collaborating reasonably with other editors is not optional. As long as you're editing here, other editors may leave you feedback on your talk page. What else would you have them do? Friday (talk) 22:15, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
