The Stonewall Inn in January 2003

Located at 53 Christopher Street in Greenwich Village, New York City, the Stonewall Inn was the site of the infamous Stonewall riots of 1969 which sparked a new militancy and the beginning of Gay Liberation.

Each year during the Pride March crowds gather outside the Stonewall Inn to enjoy its rich history.

Recently Dominick DeSimone, the current owner of Stonewall, expanded onto 7th Avenue and built the Stonewall Bistro.
