Brandon Flowers at V Festival in 2004

Brandon Flowers (born June 21 1981) is the vocalist and keyboardist in the American rock band The Killers. He was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada but moved to and was raised in Nephi, Utah, a predominantly Latter-day Saint ("Mormon") town, when he was eight. He later returned to Las Vegas.

Before he was a singer in The Killers, he was in another band known as Blush Response. The band later abandoned him when he refused to move with the rest of them to Los Angeles, California. After that, he responded to an ad in the Las Vegas Weekly by future guitarist David Keuning who was looking for a vocalist in order to form a band.

Mark Stoermer later became the bassist and Ronnie Vannucci became the drummer.

He currently has a fiancée named Tana Munbkowsky. Like Flowers, she is a 23-year-old and a Mormon. She is an Urban Outfitters manager/CCSN student/occasional CityLife model.

He has an interest in the word "Aria" and the word "Basket Case". His favorite bands are Morrissey and Psychedelic Furs. He wishes to put "Aria" in a song one day. He first wants to meet someone named Aria before writing the song.
