Boonchu (Template:Lang-th) was a Thai comedy film franchise that has been made eight times, in ten parts from 1988 - 2010. It was produced by Five Star Production, with the first seven parts directed and written by Bundit Rittakhol. Starring Santisuk Promsiri and Chintara Sukapatana, it was the most successful and popular movie of that era.

In addition, the Boonchu movie series that followed 6 installments has been recorded as the most popular and grossing movie in every installment, after this movie Bundit became a contemporary filmmaker with the highest grossing and quality films between 1988 and 1995, and won the Phra Saraswati Royal Award or Golden Dolls in the category of popular films for three consecutive years.

Boonchu movie series such as Boonchu Phu Narak is also one of the 100 Thai movies that Thai people should see. It is also one of the films that have received the 3rd time National Film Heritage List.
