UBC Salt Spring Coffee

Didn't that one close down? I have no idea whether they're planning to reopen though, so I'm hesitant to alter the article. --ruby.red.roses 02:57, 3 January 2010 (UTC)

This place has four (count 'em - four) outlets, and is also sold on BC Ferries. Whoopee. How the hell is this notable in the slightest?? Misplaced Pages is not meant to be a place for corporate self-promotion, which is all that this is.Skookum1 (talk) 15:33, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
I removed the notability tag. You are free to propose an action (deletion, merger, redirection) but since it passed afd a warning tag is not warranted. maclean (talk) 03:00, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
A coffee shop with 4 outlets is notable if they are covered in multiple reliable sources, which this one has been. The controversy within the last year was covered extensively by the media. DigitalC (talk) 21:49, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
