Revision as of 14:53, 6 April 2007 by 71.98.225.112 (talk)(diff) ← Previous revision | Latest revision (diff) | Newer revision → (diff)Before this can become an FAC:
- Information from bias sources such as "diest.com" should be deleted.
- The section on the American Revolution needs to use more summary style
- More use of footnotes! Use them where they aren't used! If you added print sources to the References list, go back and add footnotes when necessary. For print references, I'd say use Harvard Referencing.
- Certain lists should be converted to prose
- How speeches / addresses / appointments were seen by historians
- Add information in the section about his presidency
- Add information about his Native American policies as president: Treaty of New York, Northwest Indian War, Indian Intercourse Act, etc.
- What was the role he played in developing the executive branch?
- Information about diffusing the crisis over federal assumption of states' war debt is needed
- Information about the selection of the area for the federal district is needed
- How Washington had a tendency towards formal and ceremonius things
- Expand how he was caught between Jefferson and Hamilton
- Information about personal relationships with other founders is needed
- Information on Washington's popularity before, during, and after his presidency is needed
- French and Indian War section should be trimmed down quite a bit.
As each bulleted issue is resolved, feel free to remove it from the list
