Land area in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza Strip has been measured in dunams since the era of the British Mandate of Palestine.
A dunam is equal to:
- 0.1 hectare
- 0.001 square kilometre
- 0.2471 of an acre
- 1196 square yards
- 10,760 square feet
