The movie will be directed by Sam Raimi. Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, and James Franco are the confirmed returning cast members from the previous two Spider-Man movies.
It has been confirmed that the actor Thomas Haden Church will be playing the main villain. The Sandman or Venom are the two most rumored possibilities. Another villain could be Green Goblin returning from the first movie, played by Franco.
