What evidence is there that Macedo's father was Spanish? I believe Tony Macedo's father, Francisco Macedo, was Gibraltarian and consequently of British nationality and never played for Real Madrid. --Cybernest (talk) 11:56, 20 May 2016 (UTC)

Just checked the reference and I can see nothing about the sentence "he was one of only a small number of players from outside the British Isles who was playing in England" there. This has been flagged for three weeks and no one has supplied a reference for the claim. It has been removed. As for BI SP that dead. If you want to supply a reference that would be fine. Bjmullan (talk) 22:34, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
SP dead? No, I don't think so. Stop trying to delete British Isles for purely political reasons. I thought this stupidity was over now that User:HighKing has left off, but seemingly you can't help stirring it. I repeat; the British Isles Special Examples page still stands, as do the sanctions that prevent anyone from adding or deleting British Isles without agreement at that page, and of which you are now in breach.
