Clark Grier was Augusta, Georgia.

He lived in Dublin, Georgia until 1916 and then Augusta, Georgia. He was white.

In 1906 he was part of a stock company that sought to establish a hotel in Tiger, Georgia. He was a delegate to Republican National Conventions including in 1908 and 1924.

He was accused of selling post office positions.
