This user is NOT a humanThis is the combined talk page for ClueBot NG and ClueBot III. These users are automated computer programs and are not humans. Please be aware that bots cannot think like a human and cannot operate outside of their programming. Messages you leave on this talk page will not be answered by a bot – either a bot operator or another human will answer you. Stop False positives and false negativesIf you believe that ClueBot NG has mistakenly identified a good edit as vandalism, please follow the directions in the warning it gave or click here. Please do not report it on this talk page. It takes less time to report the case to the correct location, and we can handle it more effectively there.
If you believe that ClueBot NG has missed an edit that is vandalism, again do not report it here. ClueBot is unable to catch all vandalism. Just revert the edit and warn the editor. ClueBot III with {archive box}?

Is there any way to get ClueBot III to work with a previously generated {archive box} template? Context is Template talk:Date. Tule-hog (talk) 01:48, 30 July 2024 (UTC)

Controversial and non-neutral term

Would you replace the phrase "racist stereotypes" in the Lady and the Tramp (1955 film) article with the less controversial and more neutral "racial stereotypes", please? 151.18.21.158 (talk) 21:43, 20 August 2024 (UTC)

How does "numberstart" work?

On Help talk:Citation Style 1, |numberstart= is set to "69" but the bot correctly archives to the final archive page "95". How does the bot use the parameter and how does it know to archive to the correct page? Rjj (talk) 14:11, 23 August 2024 (UTC)

Since |maxarchsize=200000, it starts at 69, and then sees that that one is full, then checks 70, sees that that one is also full, and so on up to 95. |numberstart= is just where the bot starts in case of existing archives from older bots, or changes in the config (like if someone were want to go from |maxarchsize=200000 to |maxarchsize=300000 and leave older archives alone). — Naomi Amethyst 15:48, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
