Deletion discussion about Isaac Hager
Hello, Patapsco913,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Isaac Hager should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

GCatholic.org is an nonprofit organization the provides comprehensive information about the Catholic Church via its online database of bishops and dioceses of the Roman Catholic Church and Eastern Catholic Churches. The website is not officially sanctioned by the Church. It is run as a private project by Gabriel Chow, journalist for Salt + Light Television, in Toronto. It also provides information about the performance of the Catholic Church itself in different countries and territories and provides biographical information on current and former bishops of each diocese, such as dates of birth, ordination, and (where applicable) death. When created, the site name was Giga-Catholic Information due to the fact that there are around 1 billion Catholics in the world (billion = giga). It is used as a source for information on Catholic bishops and diocese, current and historical, by various news organizations and authors.

Adjacent communities template
Thank you for all of your efforts to expand details regarding 2020 census data to articles in New Jersey and around the country. I saw that you had edited the article for Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, and had added a "hand-drawn" map using links and symbols of surrounding communities. I edited the article and you may want to make use of the Template:Adjacent communities as an alternative that handles the spacing and positioning. Alansohn (talk) 16:08, 15 February 2024 (UTC)

Note regarding copying within Misplaced Pages
Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into List of mayors of Lynwood, California. While you are welcome to re-use Misplaced Pages's content, here or elsewhere, Misplaced Pages's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Misplaced Pages, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from ]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Misplaced Pages:Copying within Misplaced Pages. Thank you. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 02:21, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

Excessive citations to population boxes?
Hi, Patapsco. I notice you're adding many citations to population boxes for places around California. While giving references for the data in the boxes is good, it looks like you've been adding citations to old census records that aren't even used in the boxes. For example, in Twin Lakes, Mono County, California, you cited census data going all the way back to 1870, but there is only data for 2020 (when the CDP was created).
Would it be possible to only give citations for data that appears in the box, rather than all possible old census citations? Thanks very much! — hike395 (talk) 05:15, 24 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hello User talk:Hike395. Just wondering then. How can I make a statement that the entity has not appeared in prior censuses unless I include the prior censuses? In the past, I have had people removing my statement since they say it is unsupported. So I started adding the prior censuses so people can confirm what I am saying. California is the first state where people have objected (probably my fault since I added the information prior to updating the CDP for ease of updating; and the process is slower as CDPs seem to have been somewhat neglected in Caly...heck there is not even a full list of CDPs...just the largest). I guess I could put a direct statement in there that "xxxx has not appeared in a census until it was listed as a a xxxx in xxxx census" and add the citations but it seemed more appropriate to keep them in the population box. They way I have been working is to keep all the census PDFs open and make sure the name has not appeared in the past; and then add when it first appeared.Patapsco913 (talk) 07:31, 24 August 2024 (UTC)
