Sheenhx I'm prepared to restore the text, but I think you need some guidance before you try again, otherwise you might get yourself blocked. Unfortunately, I haven't got time right now, about to go out, but I'll post as soon as I can, might not be until tomorrow Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:04, 30 August 2024 (UTC)

Draft:Deutschheim Verein

Hello, Mr. Bleak, I would appreciate reconsideration of our article for the Deutschheim Verein, which supports the Missouri Deutschheim State Historic Site. I don't see how the text can be claimed as merely an "advertisement"; frankly, there are many organizations mentioned on Misplaced Pages that are far less deserving, such as the Missouri Germans Consortium, which has a membership of one person. We are officially recognized by the State of Missouri. We publish a scholarly journal, Der Maibaum, and educate the public about the historic and cultural contributions of our state's German immigrants. Without them, for instance, Missouri would have seceded from the United States during the Civil War. Although now a mere public high school English and journalism teacher, I am a published author and have been a professional editor and journalist, so I believe the text I sent was relatively free from error. If you want the entry to be shorter, that could always be arranged. Thank you.--Jim Muench 67.6.214.77 (talk) 01:00, 1 September 2024 (UTC)
