History
The reason this village was referred to as such is because of the unique six roads it has extending from a central roundabout. Barbados' Highway 5 extends into the area.
The Sunbury Plantation House and Museum is located in Six Cross Roads.
Subdivisions and Hamlets
Today, the village has been sectioned off and sold for retail and housing purposes.
The village has several amenities, including a post office, Knight's Pharmacy store, Emerald City Supermarket, Shell petrol, BNB (Barbados national bank), Chickmont foods store, and a Chefette.
There are several sections and residential subdivisions, including Blades, Hampton, Highland, Kirtons, and Four Roads.
