The violence appears to have been widespread and coordinated, with multiple incidents occurring across the city.

Some have called it a mass pogrom against Jews as it took place in several locations in the city of Amsterdam.
Course of events
Groups of men attacked Israeli football fans. The attackers shouted "free Palestine". At least ten Jews were seriously injured.
Prime minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu has mentioned on X: "These are the true faces of the radical terrorism we are fighting. The Western world needs to wake up now!!". 30 attackers were arrested. Danny Danon stated that “we are receiving very disturbing reports of extreme violence against Israelis and Jews on the streets of Holland. There is a pogrom currently taking place in Europe in 2024.”
By approximately 4:30 a.m., Israel dispatched two aircraft to Amsterdam to rescue the victims of the terror attack.
