On 14 November 2023, it was proposed that this article be moved from Nirim massacre to Nirim attack. The result of the discussion was moved.

Serial Killer Task Force attributes

With this move and edit this article was recently undraftified. In doing so, the serialkiller= attribute for the WikiProject Crime and Criminal Biography banner was set to the value of no. The editor making this change indicated in the edit summary that not about a serial killer. This indicates misunderstanding of the function of WikiProjects and their subsidiary task forces. WikiProjects define what articles are within their scopes and banner settings should not be changed in a way that removes an article of interest from a task force. When I previously assessed this article, which was before it was draftified, I set the attribute serialkiller=yes and during the draftifing process these attributes were kept intact. This attribute indicates that "This article is supported by the Serial Killer task force". This setting does not indicate that the article is about a serial killer. Instead it indicates the article is of interest to Serial Killer task force, which includes articles about mass murder. If you think these attribute settings are wrong, please discuss it, rather than change it or delete it. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 20:43, 4 November 2023 (UTC)

Nirim massacreNirim attack – None of the English sources for the page call the event a massacre; instead they call it an attack, and indeed, it appears to be an attack that was fended off. There is no obvious source-based, policy-based or description-based reason for the language used in the current title. Iskandar323 (talk) 08:08, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
