Hello, Biographer012434, and welcome to Misplaced Pages! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Martin Dougan did not conform to Misplaced Pages's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Misplaced Pages articles should refer only to facts and interpretations verified in reliable, reputable print or online sources or in other reliable media. Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Misplaced Pages also has a related policy against including original research in articles.
If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to The Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome! TornadoLGS (talk) 20:26, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
- I'll also add that the policy of requiring reliable sources goes double for bigraphies of living people. TornadoLGS (talk) 20:27, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hey TornadoLGS - this is actually on behalf of a client of mine who i know personally and before you deleted all of the information, I was in the process of uploading the source information. You may wish to give people ample time to complete their edits before undoing all work. Especially given that much of the information you removed was things like names, and photographs which were already verified. Biographer012434 (talk) 20:34, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
- Generally speaking you should provide sources at the same time that you add information. Otherwise, it is not clear if you intend to add sources or not. Also, since you say you are doing this on behalf of a client, I suggest you consult Misplaced Pages's conflict of interest guidelines. TornadoLGS (talk) 21:00, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
