Chinmoy Krishna Das is a Hindu monk. He is a spokesperson of Bangladesh Sanatan Jagaran Mancha. He was arrested on a complaint by BNP leader Firoze Khan on sedition charges.

Early life

Previously, he served as the divisional organising secretary of Iskcon in Chattogram.

Legal Issues

On November 25th, 2024, Das was arrested by Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police at Dhaka Airport.He was charged with sedition following allegations related to a rally where religious flags were allegedly raised over the national flag.

Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari was presented before the Chattogram Sixth Metropolitan Magistrate's Court on November 26, 2024, where Magistrate Kazi Shariful Islam ordered his detention after rejecting his bail application.
