Citations
Hi, I see that you replaced citations such as {{sfn|Ashok Aklujkar|1994|p=54-55}} with refs without page numbers. Please don't do that - page numbers make it easier for others to verify what the sources state. utcursch | talk 01:00, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Utcursch - thank you for the note. I'll be more aware of that when I edit. Qalb alasid (talk) 02:30, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Utcursch - I made citation updates to include page numbers. Thank you for providing that feedback to me! Qalb alasid (talk) 15:58, 13 July 2024 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for September 22
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Tafsir, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Abrogated. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Onam
Can you point me to the discussion that took place where the consensus was made to merge Onam and Muslims to Onam page? Thanks. — The Herald (Benison) (talk) 05:06, 4 October 2024 (UTC)

Copying within Misplaced Pages requires attribution
Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. It appears that you copied or moved content from Afghans in the Netherlands into South Asians in the Netherlands. While you are welcome to re-use Misplaced Pages's content (here or elsewhere), Misplaced Pages's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Misplaced Pages, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from ]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Misplaced Pages:Copying within Misplaced Pages. Thank you. -- Diannaa (talk) 14:07, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
- Diannaa thank you for providing that context. I'll remember that when I work on improving other articles. 01:27, 22 October 2024 (UTC)

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Please edit "non-elite pastrolist" description in Ahir community to developing special art in agriculture..
Hello, Qalb alasid. Thank you for updating Ahir community wikipedia page. You may have witness that some people with biasness have removed the content from the page and added negative terminologies. Ahirs is virile tibe and traditionally agriculture community, which had develop special skills in art of agriculture. 183.83.155.130 (talk) 06:53, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
- "Abhiras" is prakarit word for Ahir race or tribe. 183.83.155.130 (talk) 06:54, 27 November 2024 (UTC)

Please add kingdom
Ahirwal kingdom with capital Rewari, that started from Tijara. Ahirwal is a region spanning parts of southern Haryana, north-eastern Rajasthan, and South-Western Delhi The region was once a small principality based from the town of Rewari and controlled by members of the Yaduvanshi Ahir community from around the time when the Mughal empire was in decline. 183.83.155.130 (talk) 07:04, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
Ahir community page
Hello, Qalb alasid. Thank you for taking cognizance of the note written on your talk page. As, you may have witness that certain wikipedia users/editors keep on reverting your changes. The page originally did not contain terminoloies such as "non elite" etc. Ahir's were orignially pastrolist(almost most of the communit were pastrolist at that time) but later(even more than thousand years before today) they developed special skills in art of agriculture and even establish jagirdari(rule) such as overall Ahirwal region. This is better and accurate description of the evolution of the community. These editor's belong to particular community and have hatred towards the Ahir community. Most of the changes are based without any source or absurd source. You can find reference about the agriculture skill in. You can find about the Ahirwal princely state in You can see that Ahir community wikipedia page previously even 2 years back did not contain negative word such as "non-elite". And their occupation were written traditionally as agriculture. Even most of the commnuity are under represented even at this time in government. Historically, Ahir's of Ahirwal region were signficantly represented in government First chief minister of Delhi Chaudhary BrhamPrakash was an Ahir. First elected chief minister (2nd overall) of Haryana Maharaja Rao Birender Singh was an Ahir. Ahir's have improve their representation significantly. Such as chief minister of UttarPradesh, MadhyaPradesh, Bihar etc. I have given authentic source about the content. Please edit and add the above mention information. The overall internet community will thank you for your effort. 183.83.155.192 (talk) 06:44, 30 November 2024 (UTC)

Also the word "settlers" has been replace as "indentured servants"
The editor has deliberately change the word. He is the same person who uses word such as "non-elite". How can we report such person. 183.83.155.192 (talk) 11:26, 30 November 2024 (UTC)

Constructive contributions are appreciated and strongly encouraged, but your recent edit to the userpage of another user may be considered vandalism. Specifically, your edit to User:जनेश ठकुल्ला may be offensive or unwelcome. In general, it is considered polite to avoid substantially editing others' user pages without their permission. Instead, please bring the matter to their talk page and let them edit their user page themselves if they agree on a need to do so. Please refer to Misplaced Pages:User page for more information on user page etiquette. Thank you. Sandcat555 (talk) 12:46, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Sandcat555 - thank you for the message. There is a particular user who was engaging with me (in a hostile manner - Ratnahastin) and when I saw this user cleared a userpage, it seemed odd to me. I saw your note saying that is why the user is blocked. I will keep that in mind before editing a userpage. Thank you! Qalb alasid (talk) 12:50, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Qalb alasid If a user is engaging with you in a hostile manner, you need to speak to them about it on their talk page, or deal with it on the administrator noticeboard. Please don't ever revert an edit because it seemed odd to you, you should always check for context first. Sandcat555 (talk) 12:53, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
- Will do, thank you for the advice. Qalb alasid (talk) 12:55, 30 November 2024 (UTC)

Warning
Hello, Qalb alasid. This edit of yours suggests that you either have no idea of the user's history and why they were blocked, or you have some relation with them and wish to help them disrupt Misplaced Pages. Neither would be good. In your reply above to Sandcat555, you seem to imply that the reason was that you wanted to disoblige Ratnahastin. That would be as bad as the other alternatives, showing battleground editing. If there's any more of similar edits, in the widest sense (not merely editing userpages), you're likely to be blocked.
