David Poreba is an American professional soccer player for Chicago Fire FC of the MLS. Poreba is a native of Lake Zurich, Illinois, and an American-Polish dual national.

Career

Poreba became the first Fire II player to win multiple MLS NEXT Pro yearly awards and the first to earn MVP and Best XI honors since the team’s inception in 2022.

On December 11, 2024, the Chicago Fire announced the signing of Poreba to a First Team contract running through the 2025 season with 3 years of Club extension options from 2026 until 2028.
