Craig Marks is an American composer and music producer renowned for his contributions to television and film. His work spans various genres, including music for reality TV, animation, and sports programming.

Early Life and Education

Born and raised in San Jose, California, Marks pursued a degree in Music Composition at UCLA. During his studies, he apprenticed under composer Hans Zimmer at Media Ventures, gaining valuable industry experience.

Career

Marks has written music for feature films, network and cable television, animated series, commercials, and promotional content. He is particularly noted for his work on Iron Chef America, where his music was described as "saber-rattling gladiator music."

In 2014, the Dallas Chamber Symphony commissioned marks to write an original score for Sherlock Jr. starring Buster Keaton. The score premiered at Moody Performance Hall on February 25, 2014 with Richard McKay conducting.

Additionally, he composed for Kong: The Animated Series and Sonic X, as well as the reality documentary series Intervention.
