Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – A COI-afflicted editor was blocked for repeated blanking -- and now a "brand new" editor has shown up to repeat the same edit. Nomoskedasticity (talk) 16:07, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

Rent control in the United States

Reason: The other day I requested protection but was denied because there was not a recent enough history of vandalism. Anon has been back twice more since then, trying to remove the same line she has been trying to take out for years against consensus. The consensus process has been explained to anon repeatedly, but she is WP:NOTGETTINGIT. Over and over again, anon removes the line and then it is restored again. Restricting this to autoconfirmed editors would solve this problem. --Slugger O'Toole (talk) 17:27, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

Semi-protected for a period of 3 weeks, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Needless to say, the rent is too damn high! El_C 20:42, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Temporary pending changes: Persistent disruptive editing – Pretty immediately after the full lock ended, IPs have returned to edit war. I think a longer duration of protection is warranted at this point; however, some IPs have edited productively which is why I think pending changes protection might be a better temporary solution. Sariel Xilo (talk) 17:37, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

Semi-protected for a period of 4 days, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Isabelle Belato 20:16, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

The Game Awards 2024

Temporary semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – This need to be protected prior to the start of the event to prevent any weeaboos ruined the editing of the winners list. VernardoLau (talk) 18:09, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

Guess I shall wait till the end of the event before I could request the protection since early protection don't work out here. VernardoLau (talk) 18:35, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
