María Dolores Acevedo y Vázquez (Monforte de Lemos, Lugo, Spain, 1932 - León, Spain, 1998) was a Spanish writer of more than 150 novels published between 1956 and 1974, mainly in the genre of romantic novels as María Dolores Acevedo , although she also wrote some western novels under the pseudonym May Miller . Many of her novels were translated into Portuguese.

She began publishing for Editorial Bruguera.

She died in 1998 in León, where she had been a resident for many years.
