Biography
Early life
Aleksandra started dancing at the age of nine at the National Ballet School in Gdańsk. At sixteen, she left her parents and Poland to study neo-classical dance, choreography, and theater at the Anton Bruckner Private University for Music, Drama and Dance in Austria.
Her first engagement in her international dancing career was with the It Dansa company in Barcelona in 2003.
A friend advised her to audition in Paris, where she successfully joined the Lido.
Dancer at the Lido
In 2003, she became a Bluebell Girls dancer and stayed at the Lido for three years.
Several TV documentaries were made about Aleksandra, both in Poland (We are from Poland on TVP Polonia) and in France (notably on TF1 in the program Sept à huit on 18 March 2012, as well as an interview on the Journal de 13 heures on TF1.
Aleksandra appeared several times in Patrick Sébastien's show Le Plus Grand Cabaret du monde on France 2.
Aleksandra also modeled for a year after her time at the Lido.
Dancer at the Crazy Paris Show in Macau
In 2007-2008, Aleksandra joined the Crazy Paris Show in Macau (China) as a cabaret dancer, performing various dances such as the French cancan, India Dance, pole dance, and sway, which were performed daily.
Choreographer, stage manager, and producer
In 2015, Aleksandra founded her production company, Fontaine Media, to create and produce her own shows, with the first one, Le Rêve (Dream), presented in July 2015 in Kraków at the Variété Theatre.
Le Rêve is a revue that is a true theater and dance performance featuring artists such as Nathalie Cohen (singer) and Erica Bailey (dancer, aerial acrobat).
In 2016, the Theatre-Revue Show was presented first in Singapore and then in Gdańsk.
On 17 March 2018, she directed and played the role of Lidia in the adaptation of her novel La Fille à la valise at the Municipal Theatre of Perpignan.
Actress
Alongside her activities as a dancer and choreographer, Aleksandra took theater and acting classes at Studio Pygmalion and the Actors Studio Paris.
In 2008, she started her career as an actress with a role (extra) in the film Taken by Luc Besson, starring Liam Neeson.
In 2010, she got the role of Indra in the film White as Snow by Christophe Blanc, starring François Cluzet, Bouli Lanners, and Louise Bourgoin.
In 2011, she played an extra role in the film Paris-Manhattan by Sophie Lellouche, starring Patrick Bruel, Alice Taglioni, and Marine Delterme.
In January 2016, she acted in the short film Job Interview by Pauline Caballero.
She also played the role of the teacher in L'Atelier de l'ange (Angel's Workshop) by Pierre Laffargue.
In 2017, she appeared in the film HHhH by Cédric Jimenez, starring Rosamund Pike, Mia Wasikowska, and Jason Clarke.
Producer
Aleksandra founded her production company, Fontaine Media, in 2015, where she produces shows such as Le Rêve.
Journalist and writer
Aleksandra worked as a journalist for Polish and French magazines, focusing on cultural events.
She published a novel, La Fille à la valise (The Girl with the Suitcase), which she later adapted for the theater.
