Dutch Gaitley is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

College career

Gaitley played college basketball at Monmouth and Temple.

Coaching career

Gaitley began his coaching career at the collegiate level as a video coordinator at Lehigh University from 2012-2013 and as a graduate assistant with Temple University from 2011-2012.

In 2014, Gaitley was hired by the San Antonio Spurs as an assistant video coordinator. He worked as an assistant video coordinator until 2015 when he was hired as an assistant coach by the Spurs under head coach Gregg Popovich.

In 2018, Gaitley was hired by the Charlotte Hornets as an assistant coach under head coach James Borrego.

In 2022, Gaitley joined the Sacramento Kings as an assistant coach under head coach Mike Brown.

In 2024, Gaitley was hired by the Brooklyn Nets as an assistant coach under new head coach Jordi Fernández.
