Varrun Sukhraj (16th June 1988) is an Indian writer and director, best known for his documentaries Jamoora  and Too Much Democracy.

based on Indian farmers' protest, 2020–2021 Indian farmers' protest screened at The International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala The International Film Festival of Kerala, He is known for his sensitive filmmaking style that fosters dialogue and raises awareness of critical societal issues through documentary storytelling.
