Emile "Sid" Edwards is the mayor-president elect of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was elected mayor-president in a runoff election held on December 7, 2024, defeating incumbent Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome. He will assume office on January 1, 2025.

Edwards is a newcomer to the Louisiana political stage; at 61 years-old, he is known in the local community as the long-time head football coach and dean of students at Istrouma High School.
