José Maria Garcia Maldonado (born March 24, 1979) is an Mexican priest of the Catholic Church who was appointed as auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago in 2024.

Biography

On May 17, 2008, Garcia Maldonado was ordained to the priesthood.

Episcopal career

Pope Francis appointed Garcia Maldonado auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Chicago, assigning him the titular see of Fallaba on December 20, 2024. On a date TBD in early 2025, Garcia Maldonado is scheduled to be consecrated as a bishop.
