Morgan Ashley McAslan (born February 22, 2000) is a Canadian soccer player who currently plays as a goalkeeper for the Vancouver Rise FC in the Northern Super League.

Early life

McAslan played high school soccer, among other sports, as the starting goalkeeper for the Waterdown Warriors of Waterdown District High School from 2014 to 2017, a tenure that saw her named the WDHS Female Athlete of the Year in 2015–16, and conferred the Waterdown Warrior Award in 2015. Concurrently, she competed in club soccer with the Burlington Bayhawks, winning three consecutive Ontatio Youth Soccer League (OYSL) Championships between 2015 and 2017 while leading the league in shutouts and goals agaisnt average (GAA) each season. She also played in goal for the Ontario provincial team in 2014–2015, and was included in the Canadian Nation Team player pool for 2014–2015.

College career

McAslan started her collegiate career in 2018 at the University of Mississippi playing for the women's soccer team. She transferred to the Samford University in Alabama after her freshman season, where she enjoyed success playing for the Samford Bulldogs, being named the 2019 SoCon Tournament Most Outstanding Player, named to the 2019 SoCon All-Tournament Team and All-Conference First Team, the 2020–21 SoCon All-Conference First Team, and the 2021–22 SoCon All-Conference Second Team.

After her collegiate career, McAslan worked as a goalkeeper coach at her hometown club Flamborough Dundas Soccer Club and at Columbus State University for the Columbus State Cougars.

Club career

In July 2024, McAslan joined the Whitecaps FC Girls Elite in League1 British Columbia, making her debut on July 20 against Rivers FC.

In December 2024, she signed with Vancouver Rise in the Northern Super League, ahead of the inaugural 2025 season.
