Eleanor Caitlin Heeps (born 4 August 2003) is an English footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Women's Super League (WSL) club Tottenham Hotspur. She previously played for Women's Championship sides Blackburn Rovers, Coventry United, and Sheffield United.
Early life
Heeps is from Crewe, Cheshire. She attended Sandbach High School and Sixth Form College. A goalkeeper, Heeps was shortlisted for Young Sports Achiever of the Year at the 2018 Everybody Awards.
Club career
Tottenham Hotspur
On 13 August 2021, Heeps signed for WSL side Tottenham Hotspur, prior to joining Women's Championship club Backburn Rovers on loan for the 2021–22 season.
On 24 April 2024, Heeps signed a new three-year contract with Tottenham Hostpur.
On 23 November 2024, she made her debut for spurs against Aston Villa in the 2024–25 League Cup, keeping a clean sheet in a 1–0 home win. She went onto feature for the following three WSL matches with Tottenham unbeaten, making her league debut against Everton on 8 December.
Loan spells
On 22 September 2022, she joined Women's Championship club Coventry United on loan for the 2022–23 season, making ten league appearances for the team.
On 21 October 2023, she joined Sheffield United until January 2024, while continuing to train part-time with Tottenham Hotspur, making a further three Championship appearances.
International career
In October 2021, Heeps represented the England under-19s in 2022 U19 Championship qualification matches in the starting eleven against Northern Ireland and as a substitute against Switzerland, with England winning both matches and progressing to the second round.
