Hello, sorry to bother you.
Hi, Aciram. I read your homepage. Have you done research on ancient East Asian women? I have something to consult you. Hope you can reply. Thank you very much. 清风与明月 (talk) 01:58, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- Well, I have. I would not regard myself as an expert on the subject, but I do have some knowledge.--Aciram (talk) 02:20, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, I saw you edited the entry for Arab qiyan. You can look at the entry for Chinese Geji. But now I don't know why these disputes are so big. No one denies the existence of sexual relations, and no one denies that some people in the profession are prostitution. But now a profession has to be identified as a sex worker/prostitution profession. If you have time, you can check the controversy about Chinese Geji during this period, and at the same time there are other female performers. 清风与明月 (talk) 04:56, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- If take the situation of a few people as representative of the whole, then can define a profession as sex workers. Can define a profession as a profession that provides prostitution to clients at any time. This is a stigma for female performers. Recently, controversy has arisen, and it is unclear whether female performers will be defined as sex workers and prostitution profession again. 清风与明月 (talk) 05:04, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
- I am afraid I have no time or energy to engage in this issue. The only thing I can say is that in Misplaced Pages, we are neutral, and write only what academic books can reference and nothing else, regardless of consequences. Good luck with your further debate on the talk page on the article.--Aciram (talk) 23:39, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
Medieval Arab attitudes to Black people
"do not remove referenced information. Nore is a religious book of any relevance here. Do not rm it again, or I may be forced to report you"
Fine. I will not revert the page. But you are completely in the wrong. The Quran is indeed relevant to a claim made about what the Quran says. Further, the book does not mention the Quran saying anything like this. And this is even directly contracted on the wikipedia article. It is utterly ridiculous that you would report me for something like this. Doordobz (talk) 00:40, 28 September 2024 (UTC)

Black women in American politics page
Hello! I'm letting you know that I suggested the Black women in American politics article for a Good Article Nomination.
It was removed with the following comment: "Nominations need someone familiar with the sourcing and content of an article so they can respond to reviewer concerns, so it's usually expected that the nominator is one of the main contributors to the article. Also, it still needs a lot of work before it can be a good article, as it suffers greatly from scope issues and needs more citations."
I believe that the creator of the article is no longer active, so I want to encourage all interested editors to see what they can do to improve the article ProfessorKaiFlai (talk) 15:02, 10 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for letting me know, that's a worthy cause!--Aciram (talk) 15:04, 10 October 2024 (UTC)
Arevelian Tatron moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Arevelian Tatron. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Hey man im josh (talk) 18:39, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hello. Thank you for telling me. I the article would have much greater chance of improvement if it is not in a draft space. Anyone can add another reference to it very swiftly. Another option is to tag the article as one-source, and millions of people could have added another source in no time. That is a good method. Many article have only one source, or have other problems, and there are many tags for improvement to adress such issues. When the article is in a draft space, however, it is hidden from view. Only one person can see it - in this case me - and that sole person may not bother, have time, or remember to improve it; then it may simply be deleted or forever hidden. That feels a bit uneccessary. While if it was tagged, millions of people would have the chance to adress the issue. That is often a more efficient method. But I have adressed the issues now. --Aciram (talk) 19:14, 1 November 2024 (UTC)

Edit conflict on History of slavery in the Muslim world
I see I started a minor edit on a page I discovered you were working on; I'll go somewhere else, I'm just twiddling with minor stuff. I don't think I accidentally reverted anything you did but you should double-check. Ogress 15:59, 9 November 2024 (UTC)

Hi Aciram! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Kashf-e hijab several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Kashf-e hijab, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 16:43, 5 December 2024 (UTC)

Non-attributed translations
Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. It appears that you translated text from sv:Agnes Arvidson to Agnes Arvidsson. While you are welcome to translate Misplaced Pages content, here or elsewhere, Misplaced Pages's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Misplaced Pages article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:
NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Misplaced Pages article at ]; see its history for attribution.
Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Misplaced Pages:Copying within Misplaced Pages. Thank you. jlwoodwa (talk) 20:53, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
