Misplaced Pages

This English Misplaced Pages-specific image or media file should not be copied to Wikimedia Commons. While the license of this work may be compliant with Commons, its usefulness outside the English Misplaced Pages is unlikely. It should not be copied to Commons unless cross-wiki use can be demonstrated.

This template is used on approximately 4,200 pages and changes may be widely noticed. Test changes in the template's /sandbox or /testcases subpages, or in your own user subpage. Consider discussing changes on the talk page before implementing them.

Denotes a file hosted at Misplaced Pages that could be moved to Wikimedia Commons, but shouldn't be, as it would not be of use beyond the English Misplaced Pages.

This tag should not be placed on any non-free image, or on any image used in a Misplaced Pages article. It is strictly for free, non-article images that were uploaded for a specific Misplaced Pages project-related purpose, and would not be of any other use. A prime example would be a screenshot for use in a discussion.

This template categorizes into Category:Misplaced Pages files of no use beyond the English Misplaced Pages.
