Brandon Banner (born September 3, 1997), better known by his stage name IcyTwat (also stylized in all caps), is an American rapper, songwriter and record producer. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, he was previously known as the member of the Richmond-based hip hop group Divine Council until his departure in 2017. After singing in to A$AP Rocky's record label AWGE in 2021, he then rose to prominence as the member of the Atlanta-based hip hop duo Thottwat, alongside Harlem native Thoto.
Early Life
Brandon Banner was born on September 7, 1997 in Chicago, Illinois. Sometime he would move to Richmond, Virginia and then would move in Atlanta, Georgia where he currently lives.
Career
ICYTWAT started making music in 2009 after listening to Bastard by Tyler, the Creator and he was inspired to include “twat” in his name by the early works of Metro Zu. He is a former member of trap group Divine Council.
ICYTWAT was signed to Epic Records while he was with Divine Council. He is currently an independent artist.
Artistry
As a producer, he creates ethereal, bass-heavy trap instrumentals. He has produced for A$AP ANT, Playboi Carti, and MadeinTYO, among others.
