  Chalermkwan Satree School ( โรงเรียนเฉลิมขวัญสตรี )  is located at 28 Phutthabucha Road, Nai Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang Phitsanulok District, Phitsanulok Province, 65000, Thailand. The school faces the Nan River and is situated near Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat Woramahawihan. It is a girls' school in Phitsanulok Province under the Office of the Basic Education Commission. Initially, the school was named Phitsanulok Province Girls' School. Currently, it offers lower secondary education exclusively for female students, while at the upper secondary level, it operates as a co-educational institution.
  Chalermkwan Satree School has a distinctive identity, setting it apart from other schools. It was granted a royal scholarship through the initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, who presided over the opening of the Chaloem Phrakiat Arts and Culture Center. This reflects the royal family's support for education, arts, and culture. The school was also selected as a model school for implementing the basic education curriculum and received the Royal School award in the same year.   History of Chalermkwan Satree School

Establishment and Early Development

  Chalermkwan Satree School was founded on November 8, 1923, by Phraya Sri Suriyaratchawaranuwat (Suk Ditsayabut) and Phra Chamnan Kabuankan Sorn (Chei Sukumanan) with the purpose of providing education specifically for female students. Initially, the school operated on the premises of the Suea Pa Club, located opposite Wat Yai. In 1925, the school moved to its current location. By 1933, the school expanded its educational offerings with the establishment of a teacher training department.

School Change and Development

  In 1942, the school began accepting kindergarten students. In 1943, the teacher training department was separated and became the Phitsanulok Teacher Training School. However, in 1947, the teacher training department was reintegrated into Chalermkwan Satree School. In 1955, the school underwent reconstruction on Crown property across from the government building. The teacher training school was once again separated in 1956 and became Pibulsongkram Teachers College.

Area Expansion and Structural Development

  In 1965, the school received support from the Ministry of Education. In 1966, the school acquired land from the former prison to further expand its campus. In 1968, the school requested the withdrawal of the Phra Ong Dam Road condition to connect two plots of land together.

Structural Development in the Later Era

  In 1972, the school received funding to construct various buildings, including classrooms, teachers' residences, and a cafeteria. A 4-story concrete classroom building and additional teachers' residences were also built. In 2000, the school was honored with a royal grant from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, during the opening of the Chaloem Phrakiat Arts and Culture Center.
