Jamarcus Glover was the man who was the target of a search warrant that ended up in a shootout resulting in the Killing_of_Breonna_Taylor in March 2020. Glover was Taylor boyfriend until he was jailed before the shootout in Louisville, Kentucky.

Association with Taylor

In the lead-up to the March 2020 killing of Breonna Taylor, she was lending Glover her vehicle and "The warrant application also says Glover listed her address as his", and police confirmed that with "multiple computer databases."

The search warrant was for Taylor's home because "on a jail phone call that was recorded the day Taylor was killed, Glover said that Taylor was holding $8,000 for him" who had spoken with her right until Feb. 14, 2020, Valentine’s Day.

Arrest of Glover

On March 13, 2020, Glover was arrested by the Louisville police. He was in jail at the time of the shooting later in March.

Legal drama

Prosecutors allege that Glover used minors to transport and sell heroin, fentanyl, and other illegal drugs.

In October 2021, Glover entered a guilty plea for drug dealing. He was supposed to be on probation for 8 years.

Glover continued to traffic narcotics. In 2023, local police and the Drug Enforcement Administration issued a warrant for his arrest after a 13-year-old girl overdosed on fentanyl.

However, in March 2024, he was sentenced to 7 years in prison for violating his probation.
