The Goriya Muslims are a distinct group of Muslims predominantly residing in the state of Assam, India. They form a part of the diverse Muslim population in Assam, with their primary concentration in the Brahmaputra Valley, particularly in districts such as Barpeta, Kamrup, Nalbari, and Darrang. The Goriya Muslims have a unique cultural identity, influenced by both their Islamic faith and the indigenous Assamese culture.
