Ashwani Gupta is an Indian business executive and the Whole-Time Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ), one of India's largest port operators. Career spanning decades in the automotive and infrastructure sectors.
Education
Born in Dehradun, India, Ashwani Gupta graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, India, and obtained a diploma from INSEAD Business School in France. Gupta completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in the United States.
Career
- Nissan Motors: Chief Executive Officer of Nissan Motors. He was one of the few Indians to hold a top leadership position in a global automotive company.
- Adani Ports and SEZ: Gupta currently serves as the Whole-Time Director and CEO of Adani Ports and SEZ.
