Tombstone is also the name of a 1993 movie starring Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer, written by Kevin Jarre and directed by George P. Cosmatos. In this movie, Wyatt Earp, his brothers and his friend Doc Holliday live a profitable and peaceful life in the town of Tombstone, Arizona, but soon clash with the cowboys, a gang led by the Clanton Brothers.
