The most important festival of Kerala, the "Gods Own Country", namely "Onam" is celebrated during this month. This comes during August or September of English Calendar. (Kerala, by the way, is the only place in world where Malayalam is the main speaking language, though Malayalies (whoever speaks Malayalam) can be seen across the glob all of whom actually descent from small, beautiful Kerala.
