The Colbert Report is a Show announced by Comedy Central. It is likely to start Airing around September. It stars Steven Colbert, off of the popular Daily Show on Comedy Central. It will likely be a Comedy Counterpart of more Media addressing shows such as the O'Reilly Factor, people such as Sean Hannity, . Its title was developed from a Segment on the Daily Show. It will air after the Daily Show, starting at the same time another show in development by Comedy Central, which is unamed as of yet. It will be hosted by Adam Carolla, and will add humor about the pop culture events of the day. It will Air 4 Nights a week. Comedy Central announced that it is part of a line up where they hope to "Keep the viewers attracted by the Daily Show to keep watching late into the night." Colbert, Jon Stewart, and Ben Karlin executive producer of the Daily Show, supposedly came up with the Idea for the show after watching coverage of the sexual harrasment lawsuit filed against Bill O'Reilly. One segment of the show, called "Worthy Opponent" will feature Colbert debating himself.
