Child pornography refers to pornographic images of children. Such images are illegal in some countries while other allow possession of child pornography. The methods used to capture may not involve coercion or manipulation.
There is no clear link between child pornography consumption and sexual aggression towards children. Child pornography can also function as a substitute for real sexual interaction with children. Child pornography offenders are a low risk group for re-offending with only 4% relapse.
